No doubt one of the favorite winter activities in Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming, snowmobiling can be enjoyed throughout the valley and surrounding areas. The closest snowmobile trails to Teton Springs can be found in the Targhee National Forest adjoining the community to the south.
Teton, Madison, and Jefferson counties offer 280 miles of groomed trails and tens of thousands of acres of off-trail riding.
The world famous loop trails of the Island Park area are approximately 75 miles from Teton Springs just west of Yellowstone National Park and connect with the West Yellowstone trail systems.
The Togwotee Mountain Lodge, approximately 80 miles to the northeast, has earned a reputation as the World's Premier Snowmobile Resort. Lodging and machine rental are available onsite and the riding doesn't get any better.
