Grand Targhee

Grand Targhee is best known for one thing...SNOW...and lots of it! With average annual snowfall in excess of 500 inches, it's no wonder why readers of Ski Magazine named Grand Targhee the #2 resort in North America for snow.

With more than 2000 lift serviced acres, Grand Targhee offers terrain for skiers of all skill levels and has been recognized as one of the top Family Ski Resorts in the West. For those seeking adventure on ungroomed terrain, Targhee boasts an additional 1000 acres for Powder Cat skiing.

Just 22 miles from Teton Springs, you can be on the slopes in a matter of minutes.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Yes, this is "The Big One"...4,139 feet of vertical descent to the valley floor from the 10, 450 foot summit of Rendezvous Mountain. While the resort's terrain is indeed legendary, that doesn't mean the entire mountain is for experts only. While there are plenty of chutes, cliff bands and couloirs there are more than 2100 vertical feet of groomed runs, open bowls, and glades for beginner or intermediate skiers and riders to enjoy.

The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is 24 miles east of Teton Springs.

High Mountain Heli-Skiing has been in operation for 28 years with access to all terrain in the Snake River and Palisades mountain ranges as well as portions of the Teton, Gros Ventre and Hoback Ranges.

Residents and guests of Teton Springs can experience an exhilarating day of heli-skiing which includes six "top to bottom" runs and a deli lunch. Trips will be staged from the Teton Springs heliport.
